Youth Sailing Programs

Our Beginner/Intermediate Youth courses are focused on providing kids with a fun opportunity to learn and hone basic sailing skills.

One Week: We pack a full US Sailing course into a week of all-day instruction.

Two Weeks: Rather than all day, this program runs every afternoon for two weeks.

A week of advanced sailing is offered to students who want to take it up notch!

Student scholarships are available.

A US Sailing Certified Instructor is on duty at all times.

Adult sailing programs

Our adult programs are run in the early evenings throughout the summer.

Here is an inexpensive way to get out on a protected body of water and learn a skill that you can take anywhere!

Dedicated Women’s classes offered for the ladies who want a low-pressure atmosphere to be introduced to sailing.

For intermediate sailors we offer keelboat instruction out of Lincolnville Beach.

Open Sailing for all sailors on a weekly basis.

You can’t beat Norton pond Lincolnville center for introductory sailing! The water is warm, the breezes gentle, and the views are unobstructed.

About the LBC

It is our pleasure to introduce to you the Lincolnville Boat Club (LBC). We are a group of Lincolnville residents who have formed the LBC as a non-profit, public benefit corporation dedicated to offer sailing and seamanship instruction and programs to our community.

The LSC was established in 2006 and incorporated by the State of Maine as a not for profit corporation and approved by the IRS as a 501c3 public benefit organization for purposes of receiving tax deductible contributions.

All of our courses are focused on educating individuals to the joys of sailing.
