Mission Statement
Lincolnville Boat Club (LBC) shall be an educational trust and community sailing program dedicated to developing skilled, thoughtful, and responsible sailors through experiential, science-based instruction. By engaging students directly with wind, water, and consequence, LBC cultivates situational awareness, problem-solving, leadership, and environmental stewardship. Being grounded in community responsibility and our maritime heritage, LBC’s purpose is to use sailing as a platform for intellectual growth, personal accountability, and lifelong connection to the natural world.

About Us
Lincolnville Boat Club (LBC) is a community sailing program based in Lincolnville, Maine. Now in our 20th year, LBC is committed to delivering US Sailing-aligned instruction through certified instructors, developing safe, confident, and capable sailors in the tradition of our community’s seafaring heritage. Serving sailors from introductory through competitive levels, the program offers high-quality, accessible instruction in a supportive and inclusive environment on the protected waters of the 183-acre Norton Pond - an ideal setting for skill development, confidence building, and safe progression for all ages. Sessions run June through August with adult programming beyond.
